Biodigester

What is a biodigester?

It’s a tank manufactured with polyethylene (plastic) completely sealed, where the organic matter in the manure of  cattle, pigs and poultry and other organic waste is fermented by bacteria and microorganisms transforming it into biogas and biofertilizer which can have important environmental and economic benefits.

Capacity:

Horizontal tank: From 2,000 to 20,000 liters
Vertical tank: From 2,000 to 10,000 liters

Measurements for horizontal tank

Capacity (Lts) Length (mm) Number of modules
4.500 2.600 2
7.000 3.700 3
10.000 4.800 4
12.000 5.900 5
14.000 7.000 6
16.000 8.100 7
18.000 9.200 8
20.000 10.300 9

Measurements for vertical tank:

Capacity (Lts) Length (mm) Number of modules
2.000 1.300 1
4.500 2.400 2
6.000 3.500 3

Advantages of using the biodigestor rotoplast

  • Produce biogas (combustible) to supply energy needs.
  • Produce Biofertilizer (organic fertilizer) useful for soil and crops
  • Destroys microorganisms, parasite eggs and weed seeds.
  • Reduce environmental pollution generated by agro-industrial discharges
  • Light and easy to transport.
  • Resistant to weather and corrosion.
  • Made from linear polyethylene.
  • Waterproof tank
  • Easy to install, operate and maintain.
  • Easy to relocate, something not possible in biodigesters made from other materials.
  • Variety of sizes.
